That’s right, guys! Now you can support your addiction to Hellen Roxx on ManyVids!

Although it’s not a new site, when it started I was bombarded with requests from other girls telling me how fantastic the site was and how I should join it. I’m always a bit skeptical when I get five messages from camgirls within one day, praising a certain site.

I created an account, read through the Terms of Service, read through the Model Contract… and then closed that tab and never completed submitting my application. I didn’t like some of the articles in the Model Contract, so I didn’t sign up.

You should always, ALWAYS read a cam / clip site’s TOS and Contract before submitting your ID or any other identifying information. Always.

A little over a week ago, I was discussing ClipVia not paying their models on time while I was on Twitter with some other girls (in case you hadn’t heard – ClipVia says they had such exponential growth of their site, they didn’t have the funds to be able to pay all of their models on the once a month pay day; obviously this resulted in a lot of girls being unable to pay for things because they were counting on that money). Anyway, we were talking about ClipVia’s issues on Twitter, and the ManyVids Twitter account jumped in to suggest we sign up to their site instead. I said I had thought about it but didn’t like some parts of the contract. ManyVids asked which ones, so I told them. They clarified most of them, and said they’d discuss another with their lawyer.

One week later, ManyVids updated their Model Contract to clarify some of the things that were a bit unspecific before. One week to amend the articles I had an issue with! Talk about working fast!

I submitted my application Friday night, was approved right away, and spent Saturday exploring the site. It’s always fun to poke around a new site and check out all their features.

Quick run-through of things you can currently do on ManyVids:

• Sell videos, obviously (scheduled release dates and mass uploader available);
• Post your rates and sell Skype shows and custom videos;
• Sell access to messaging services (snapchat, for example);
• Create a “fund” with a monetary goal and rewards for contributors;
• Sell a membership, allowing buyers to stream all of your current videos as well as any videos uploaded during the time of their membership (keep in mind it’s VERY EASY to rip videos that are being streamed, so, you might not be into this option);
• Sell your phone number;
• Create a link to a video or a group of videos which allows you to sell the video on OTHER SITES and use ManyVids to host your content;
• Sell “items” in your store, further broken down into categories such as Accessories, Babydolls, Bikinis, Bodystockings, Bras & Panties, Club Wear, Jewelry, Messaging, Photosets, Printed Media, Sexy Bottoms, Sexy Costumes, Shoes, Stockings, Tank Tops, Toys, Treats, Vid Bundle, and Others

As you can see, it’s a bit of a one-stop-shop, but your page is split up into tabs for easy navigation (“Vids”, “Store”, “Pics”, “Wall”, “About”). Here’s a picture of my Store tab currently, with panties for sale and tribute options.

You can also post photos (gifs as well) on your profile, which will auto-post to your Twitter and Tumblr if you connect the accounts.

The site does have a ranking system. You get some base points for filling out your profile, connecting your Twitter account, offering a variety of services (like messaging, skype, custom videos, a goal fund, etc), listing a membership option, having 10 items in your store section, posting 7 pictures, and having 10 videos uploaded. They also allocate points (in a 45 day period) for sales, video and store items posted, the number of auto-tweets (for new videos, items, and picture posts), and the number of profile and video “hearts” you get.

As you can see, I’ve already “hearted” both my profile and the 12 videos I’ve uploaded, because I love Me and I’m not afraid to admit it. On Saturday I was ranked #323 with a score of 1679 points. Today – Sunday morning – I’m #154 with 2239 points. While I would OF COURSE love to see sales boosting my rank, if you’re unable to buy anything right now, just leave hearts on everything for me! Raising my rank will help my profile to get more views, which hopefully translates to more sales.
