Camgirl Corner

Outfit Organization for Camgirls

I consider myself to be a pretty lucky camgirl, because I don’t need to buy myself lingerie / outfits.  I have been pretty spoiled as far as gifts go, so I have an absolute ton of lingerie.  I’m not exaggerating.  I literally mean thousands of dollars of lingerie have been sent to me.  (I promise there is a point to my bragging..)

If you’ve got more than a few outfits yourself, you know how easy it is to lose pieces!  You mix one top with a different pair of panties, and then can’t remember what it was originally paired with… you take the garters off of a skirt “just for today” but then you lose one, and you definitely can’t wear only three now…  so how do I keep all of my things together?

Freezer bags.  Labelled freezer bags.

Take this outfit, for example.  It has three pieces – a bra top, a thong, and a skirt.  All three pieces go into the freezer bag with a  label on the bottom so that I instantly know what the bag contains.  When you take an outfit (or a piece of the outfit) out of the bag, leave the bag open and AWAY from all of your lingerie.  For me, I keep open bags under my desk.  That way they won’t get mixed up with the rest of  your “complete” bags, and you’ll know they need to be checked before being put away again.

Now, I realize “bra, skirt, thong” isn’t a very descriptive label.  Sure, you can see it’s red, and you know what pieces are in the bag, but it definitely isn’t the ONLY red three-piece lingerie outfit, so how can you tell at a glance what it is?

Another label, naturally.

The label at the top of this bag says “Scarlet Harlot”.  This might seem a bit more complicated – who names their lingerie? – but I promise it isn’t.  When I did a photoset with this outfit, I named the photoset Scarlet Harlot.  That is the label I wrote on this bag, so that when I glance at it I can remember what the full outfit is.  This is more of an extra step if you have a ton of outfits, but I like to know what outfits I’ve worn for photosets and what I haven’t, so this second label helps me keep track of that as well.  If it has a top label, it’s been used for pictures.  If it doesn’t have a top label, I have yet to do photos with it.  Again, this is not really necessary, but it is something I do to make the organization of my own outfits more efficient.

Okay, so everything is in labelled freezer bags.  Now what?  If you’ve tried to stack a few of them together already, you’ve most likely had a lingerie avalanche.  I have a fix for that as well!

Bins.  Or boxes, if you prefer.

I have a “lingerie cabinet” to hold all of my bins, but it’s not necessary.  I got a bunch of these decorative cloth bins from Amazon, and my freezer bagged lingerie gets sorted into these bins.  You’d better believe they’re organized too!  One has bikinis, one has costumes, one has babydolls, etc.  (The hinges for the door prevent me from having three bins along the bottom, so I leave one just outside of the cabinet to hold my “use next” outfits for upcoming videos.

Can you tell I have an organization fetish?  Having everything organized makes it much easier to find the outfit you want, and this way you know it will have all of the pieces all together.  There is nothing worse than spending twenty minutes looking for an outfit for a video, only to realize you’re still missing the matching panties.  This system works for me, so try it out or experiment with something that works for you!
